mathegrube started in 2017. The site was used to share information and tasks about middle school math and science. It had neat features that were written in react.
In 2018 mathegrube was rewritten utilizing express, handlebars and mongodb. Now students were able to communicate with each other and work together.
During the first lockdown in 2020 a minigame for mental math with leaderboards written in vanillajs was added to the site.
The last addition to mathegrube was a unit converter made in 2021. It helped students to convert units of length and it was written in vanillajs.
In 2022 all mathegrube services were stopped and replaced with this static site since we started using Teams in mid 2020 and the services were less and less used year after year.
